Junior Umpire Program

Will you be at least 12 years of age in the spring?  Are you knowledgeable about baseball and/or softball and looking to earn a stipend for your volunteer efforts?  If yes, then the Valley Little League Junior Umpire Program might be for you!

The Valley Little League Baseball and Softball umpire staff consists of adults and teenagers umpiring youth baseball and softball games (ages 9-12) at the AAA, Coast, and Majors levels.

Umpires can earn a $25 stipend per game, depending on the level of play and field position. All umpires will receive pre-season training and all necessary equipment. Games occur on weekday evenings and weekend days from March to June. There is no minimum number of games required. It is a great, flexible way to earn cash while learning important life skills and supporting our community!

After registration, we'll get back in touch to let you know when the training will be held and how to get started. Note that the mandatory Little League background checks are now handled electronically as part of the registration process.

Any questions?  Reach out to our League via this information form!
